Afghanistan, Feb. 15 -- Shafqat Ali Khan, the spokesperson for Pakistan's Ministry of Foreign Affairs, stated that one of the key issues damaging the relationship between Islamabad and Kabul is the presence of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) safe havens in Afghanistan. He emphasized that Pakistan has raised this issue with the Taliban, and it must be resolved for bilateral cooperation to proceed.

Khan further stated that cooperation between the two countries cannot be achieved unless the issue of TTP sanctuaries is addressed. He underlined that Afghanistan's proximity to Pakistan makes the situation even more critical, with the TTP operating from Afghanistan's soil.
