Afghanistan, Nov. 25 -- Pakistan's overnight airstrikes in Afghanistan's Khost province killed 10 civilians, including nine children, intensifying already fragile relations and sparking renewed regional alarm.

Overnight airstrikes by Pakistan have reportedly struck multiple locations inside Afghanistan, killing at least ten civilians, according to the Taliban administration. Zabihullah Mujahid, spokesperson for the Islamic Emirate, said the dead include nine children and one woman from the same family after a residential home was hit in the Mughalki area of Gurbuz district in Khost province around midnight.
