Afghanistan, Oct. 25 -- Pakistan and Kabul officials began a second round of security talks in Istanbul, seeking to prevent further border clashes and strengthen cooperation against militant threats.

Delegations from Islamabad and Taliban have launched a new round of negotiations in Istanbul aimed at reducing border tensions and preventing further armed clashes. Talks began on Saturday at a hotel in central Istanbul under tight Turkish police security.
