Afghanistan, May 11 -- Over 900 Afghan families deported from Pakistan and Iran crossed into Afghanistan via various border points.
The state-run Bakhtar News Agency under the Taliban administration reported that 902 Afghan families returned to Afghanistan from Pakistan and Iran on the previous day. This marks another significant development in the ongoing migration crisis facing Afghanistan.
According to a report published by the agency on Saturday, May 10, these families returned through various border points. 230 families crossed via Torkham, 231 through Spin Boldak, 150 through Pul-e-Khumri, 23 via Bagramcha, and 268 through Islam Qala. The returnees have been largely undocumented migrants facing pressure from neighboring countries.
