Afghanistan, Feb. 4 -- More than 800 people went missing in Delhi, capital city of India within fifteen days, raising concerns over urban safety and effectiveness of tracing mechanisms.
According to the report, Delhi Police recorded 807 missing person cases between January 1 and 15, averaging about 54 disappearances daily across the capital.
Indian outlets reported that women and girls accounted for the majority of cases, with 509 females missing compared to 298 missing men during the same period.
Police data shows that 191 of those reported missing were minors, while adults made up 616 cases, highlighting continuing vulnerability among both children and grown citizens.
