Afghanistan, Nov. 27 -- Over 400 Afghan migrants imprisoned in Pakistan and Iraq have been released and returned home, according to a statement, as regional deportations continue intensifying.
More than 400 Afghan migrants detained abroad have been released and returned home, Afghanistan's Taliban-run Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation said on Thursday.
According to the ministry, 400 Afghans were freed from prisons in Pakistan and crossed into Kandahar province through the Spin Boldak border point. Many had been detained during Pakistan's recent crackdown on undocumented foreigners.
