At least 40 people, including women and children, were rushed to Kabul's Emergency Hospital after a series of powerful explosions shook the Afghanistan capital on Wednesday evening, the hospital said. Five people were confirmed dead.
Emergency Hospital stated that ten of the injured were in critical condition. "We began receiving ambulances full of wounded people shortly after several explosions occurred a few kilometres from our facility," said Dejan Panic, the hospital's director.
