Afghanistan, March 8 -- Syria has entered a new phase of unrest and conflict following the fall of former President Bashar al-Assad's regime. Reports of deadly clashes over the past two days indicate that more than 250 people have been killed along the country's western coast.
According to AFP, the fighting, which started on Thursday, has intensified in western areas like Latakia and Tartus between the Syrian Interim Government forces and those loyal to Bashar al-Assad, resulting in the deaths of over 250 individuals.
