Afghanistan, June 23 -- More than 200 civilians were killed in Gaza as Israeli strikes targeted crowds waiting for humanitarian aid, worsening the humanitarian crisis.
Gaza's Health Ministry reported that at least 202 people have been killed and over 1,000 wounded in Israeli attacks in the past 48 hours.
Among the casualties were 26 Palestinians shot dead on Saturday while waiting at food distribution centers.
According to the Health Ministry, the total number of people killed in Gaza since the war began has reached 55,908, with more than 138,131 injured.
Aid organizations say strikes on food distribution points have become common, putting civilians at even greater risk.
