Afghanistan, April 24 -- The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations states that over 2,000 Afghan migrants have been expelled from Iran.

On Wednesday, April 24th, the ministry announced in a statement that a total of 2,783 Afghan migrants returned to the country after being expelled by Iran.

According to the statement, these migrants entered Afghanistan through the Islam Qala border crossing on Monday.

The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations added that the returning migrants include both families and individuals.

On Sunday, the ministry also reported the return of 2,651 migrants who had been expelled from Iran.
