Afghanistan, April 21 -- Over 100 Afghan migrants were freed from Pakistani jails and have returned to Afghanistan, following their brief detention.

The Ministry of Refugees and Returnees has announced the release of 115 Afghan migrants from Pakistani prisons. The release occurred on April 21, when the migrants returned through the Spin Boldak border crossing.

According to the statement, the migrants had been detained in various regions of Pakistan and spent between one to three days in detention before being freed. These migrants were part of a larger group of Afghan nationals who were arrested in Pakistan for illegal residency.
