Afghanistan, May 28 -- Over 1,000 Afghan families were forcibly returned from Iran and Pakistan amid rising pressure.

Following increasing pressure on Afghan migrants in neighboring countries, officials from Afghanistan's Ministry of Refugees and Repatriations have reported the return of more than 1,000 Afghan families from Iran and Pakistan.

According to the statement, within the past 24 hours, Saturday, May 27, a total of 1,066 Afghan families have returned to Afghanistan through various border points.

Among these, 165 families entered through the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar province, 133 families via Spin Boldak in Kandahar, 228 families through the Pul-e-Abresham crossing in Nimroz, 3 families via Angoor Ada in Paktika, and ...
