Afghanistan, June 14 -- Omani Foreign Minister confirmed that the sixth round of U.S.-Iran talks, scheduled for Sunday, has been canceled indefinitely.

Oman's Foreign Minister, Badr al-Busaidi, announced that the sixth round of talks between Iran and the U.S., originally scheduled for Sunday, will no longer take place.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter) on June 14, Busaidi emphasized that diplomacy and dialogue remain the only paths toward lasting peace.

U.S. officials have yet to provide a statement regarding the cancellation of the talks, leaving the reasons for the delay unclear.
