Afghanistan, Nov. 4 -- The Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) urged member states to provide urgent humanitarian aid to northern Afghanistan after a deadly earthquake killed 20.
Hissein Brahim Taha, Secretary-General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC), expressed solidarity with the people of Afghanistan and called on member states and humanitarian partners to provide urgent relief to those affected by the recent earthquake in the country's north.
In a statement released on Monday, the OIC said its Afghanistan office has been instructed to coordinate with relevant authorities and assess the needs of affected communities.
