Afghanistan, Feb. 12 -- Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has warned that the Gaza ceasefire will end if Israeli prisoners held by Hamas are not released by Saturday.

Netanyahu stated on Tuesday, February 11, that if the hostages are not freed by noon on Saturday, the ceasefire will come to an end, and the Israeli military will resume its attacks on Hamas until the group is completely defeated.

In response to these statements, Hamas issued a statement reaffirming its commitment to the ceasefire. However, Hamas accused Israel of violating the agreement and endangering the peace process.
