The latest data from the UK's Office for National Statistics (ONS) shows that Mohammed remained the most popular name for newborn boys in England and Wales in 2024. It is the second year in a row that the name has topped the list.
For girls, Olivia once again took first place, while Amelia stayed firmly in second, continuing its long-standing appeal among British parents.
