At least four people, including two police officers and a senior local official, were killed in a militant attack in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province on Tuesday, authorities said. Three others were wounded.
Officials said the assault took place in Bannu district when armed men ambushed a police vehicle, opened fire, and later set the vehicle ablaze before seizing weapons. Shah Waliullah, the assistant commissioner of Miranshah, was among the dead, along with a civilian.
