Afghanistan, Feb. 23 -- French President Emmanuel Macron has described the knife attack in the city of Mulhouse as an act of Islamic extremism and emphasized that he will eradicate terrorism from his country.
France 24 reported on Saturday, February 22, that as a result of the attack, one person was killed, and two police officers were seriously injured.
President Macron further stressed that there is no doubt about the "terrorist nature" of the attack. He reiterated his commitment to eliminating terrorism from France.
