Afghanistan, March 13 -- Dmitry Peskov, the spokesperson for the Russian presidency, stated that there is a possibility for a phone conversation between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump.

According to TASS News Agency, Peskov mentioned on Wednesday, March 12, that he does not rule out the potential for such a phone call.

Peskov added, "We still do not dismiss the possibility of the topic being raised at the highest level, and if the need arises, it can be organized quickly. Existing communication channels with the Americans would make it possible in a relatively short time."

Meanwhile, talks between U.S. and Ukrainian delegations were held in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on Tuesday.
