Afghanistan, Sept. 6 -- The Kremlin has suggested a potential meeting between Presidents Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump, following their inconclusive Alaska talks, as both sides weigh renewed dialogue on Ukraine's crisis.

Russian media, citing the Kremlin, have reported the possibility of another meeting between Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President Donald Trump in the near future.

Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov told Russia's TASS news agency on Thursday that "if the presidents deem it necessary, the meeting will be organized quickly, just as the previous one in Alaska was arranged."
