Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said his passport has been blocked since May 9, 2023, preventing him from traveling abroad.
He told reporters on Wednesday that he applied for renewal but Pakistani authorities refused due to the May 9 unrest linked to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
Gandapur said the restriction has stopped him from visiting Afghanistan for talks with Taliban leaders on cross-border peace and security.
