Afghanistan, Oct. 28 -- Kabul has warned it will retaliate against Pakistan if further cross-border attacks occur, after negotiations collapsed over demands Kabul called unrealistic and unacceptable.

Afghanistan has warned Pakistan of a strong retaliatory response if Islamabad launches further military strikes on Afghanistan territory, Offcials stated on Tuesday.

Abdul Mateen Qani, spokesperson for the Interior Ministry, issued a public message to Islamabad, stating that any future assaults would be met with a response that "will be a lesson for Pakistan and a warning for others."
