Afghanistan, Aug. 13 -- Kabul and Kyrgyzstan signed an economic cooperation agreement to establish a joint trade council, boost investment, and enhance banking, transport, and visa facilitation for Afghanistan's traders.

The Taliban's Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced the signing of an economic and trade cooperation agreement with Kyrgyzstan. The deal was formalized on Wednesday, August 13, between Taliban Minister of Industry and Commerce Nooruddin Azizi and Kyrgyz Minister of Economy and Commerce Bakyt Sadykov.

According to the ministry's statement, both sides agreed to establish a joint trade council, set up a trade house and commercial centers, hold economic forums, and pursue joint investment projects in Afghanistan.
