Afghanistan, Oct. 25 -- Kabul has dispatched a delegation to Turkey for the next round of ceasefire negotiations with Islamabad, aiming to ease border tensions and restore secure cross-border movement.

Islamabad and Kabul are preparing for a new round of negotiations in Turkey aimed at reducing tensions that have flared along the shared frontier. The discussions follow a ceasefire agreement recently reached in Doha between Pakistani and Taliban representatives.

Zabihullah Mujahid, senior spokesperson for the Kabul administration, said on Friday that a delegation led by Haji Najib, the deputy interior minister, has departed for Turkey to participate in the talks.
