Afghanistan, Jan. 5 -- Kabul police arrested a cyber expert in connection with several cybercrimes in the capital Kabul city, an official said.

Ferdaws Faramarz, the Kabul police spokesperson, said on Saturday, January 4th, that police arrested a convicted person whose name is Morteza, a resident of the 13th district of Kabul city.

According to a statement from Kabul Police Command's Press Office, Morteza had been conducting cybercrime in various ways and extorting money from citizens before being arrested. Police have long wanted him for illegal activities and internet espionage.
