Afghanistan, July 23 -- Kabul and Islamabad signed a trade deal to reduce tariffs, aiming to boost exports, support farmers, and strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and ties.
Pakistan and the Taliban signed a preferential trade agreement today, Wednesday, aimed at reducing customs tariffs on several export items. The agreement seeks to strengthen bilateral trade and boost economic exchanges between the two neighboring countries.
According to the Taliban's Ministry of Industry and Commerce, the deal was signed in Islamabad between Ahmadullah Zahid, Taliban Deputy Minister for Industry and Commerce, and Javed Paal, Pakistan's Deputy Minister of Commerce.
