Afghanistan, Sept. 3 -- Japan will send emergency tents, blankets, and essential supplies to earthquake-stricken Kunar, joining Turkey, Iran, and India in providing vital humanitarian relief as casualties continue rising.
The Japanese Embassy in Afghanistan announced on Wednesday that Tokyo will send emergency assistance to victims of the devastating earthquake in Kunar province at the request of the Red Cross and Red Crescent.
According to the embassy, the relief package will include tents, blankets, and other essential supplies to support families who lost homes and belongings in the disaster.
