Afghanistan, March 27 -- Arabic media reports have stated that Abdel Latif al-Qanou, a Hamas spokesperson, was killed in an Israeli airstrike early this morning, Thursday, March 27 in the Jabalia area in the northern Gaza Strip.
Hamas has confirmed the death of Abdel Latif al-Qanou, stating that he was targeted in an airstrike while in his tent in Jabalia and has "martyrdom."
This comes just a few days after Salah al-Bardawil, a senior Hamas political bureau leader, and his wife were killed in an Israeli airstrike in Khan Younis, southern Gaza.
In recent days, Hamas also confirmed the death of Ismail Barhoum, the group's finance and aid coordinator, who died in an attack on Nasser Hospital in Khan Younis.
