Afghanistan, Nov. 9 -- Israel's military said its air and drone strikes in southern Lebanon killed three Hezbollah members involved in arms smuggling and military operations.

The Israeli army confirmed on Saturday that three Hezbollah members were killed in a series of air and drone strikes targeting sites in southern Lebanon, amid escalating cross-border hostilities.

Military spokesperson Avichay Adraee said two fighters were killed in the Chebaa area and another in the town of Baraachit. He claimed the individual in Baraachit had been working to rebuild Hezbollah's military infrastructure, while the two others were allegedly involved in arms smuggling operations.
