Afghanistan, Nov. 8 -- Israel said it has recovered the body of another hostage who died in captivity in Gaza, handed over through the Red Cross.
The office of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed on Friday that Israeli forces had received the body of a hostage who died while held by militants in Gaza.
Officials said the remains were transferred via the International Committee of the Red Cross and taken to Israel's National Center of Forensic Medicine for identification.
Authorities said the victim's family will be notified once formal identification procedures are complete, and efforts continue to bring home all remaining hostages.
