Afghanistan, Oct. 11 -- Israel's military said it carried out an airstrike on a Hezbollah facility in southern Lebanon early Saturday, hours after a Gaza ceasefire took effect.
The Israeli army said early Saturday it had attacked a site belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, describing the target as an equipment depot used to rebuild "terrorist infrastructure."
In a statement, the military said, "A short while ago, the IDF struck Hezbollah terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon, destroying machinery used for rebuilding terror-related sites."
The army added that Hezbollah's activities in the area violated security arrangements between Israel and Lebanon and warned that it would continue operations to eliminate "any threat again...
