Afghanistan, April 7 -- The Israeli military has admitted to mistakenly killing 15 aid workers in southern Gaza on March 23. The attack targeted a humanitarian convoy near Rafah, which included vehicles belonging to the Palestinian Red Crescent, the Palestinian Civil Defense, and the United Nations.
The convoy, comprising five ambulances and a fire truck, was responding to emergency calls to assist the wounded. Israel initially claimed the vehicles were moving suspiciously toward its forces and had not coordinated their movements in advance.
