Afghanistan, March 7 -- According to the Global Peace Index report, ISIS and its affiliated groups were the deadliest terrorist organization in 2024, taking responsibility for killing over 1,800 people across 22 countries. The report states that ISIS has expanded its operations into 30 countries.
However, the report notes that the number of deaths attributed to ISIS has decreased by 10% compared to 2023. In 2023, ISIS was responsible for 1,996 deaths, while the figure for the previous year was 1,805.
