Afghanistan, Feb. 17 -- Iraq says prisoners linked to ISIS, including 25 Afghan nationals, were transferred from Syrian prisons to face legal proceedings in Iraqi courts.
The Ministry of Justice of Iraq announced on Monday that several detainees linked to the group were transferred from prisons in Syria to Iraq to complete judicial procedures and serve sentences.
According to Alsumaria TV, official documents show the transferred prisoners include nationals from multiple countries moved under coordinated legal arrangements.
