Afghanistan, Feb. 3 -- Iran's state television recently unveiled the latest ballistic missile developed by the country's Ministry of Defense, named "E'temad" (Trust).
The missile was showcased on Sunday, February 2, in Tehran during a ceremony attended by Iran's President, Masoud Pezeshkian. Iranian TV aired footage of the missile, calling it the "latest ballistic missile" created by the Iranian Ministry of Defense.
According to Iranian military officials, the missile is 16 meters long and has a diameter of 1.25 meters with 1,700 km range. Iran claims that the "E'temad" missile features a guided warhead that remains on target until impact.
