Afghanistan, Feb. 7 -- The Iranian Minister of Interior has announced that the presence of unauthorized migrants in the country is reducing job opportunities for Iranian citizens. As a result, stricter regulations will be imposed on Afghan migrants.
According to Iranian media reports, citing Eskander Momeni, Iran's Interior Minister, the government is planning to implement stricter regulations to better manage the job market.
Momeni also clarified that unauthorized migrants, after the registration and review of their cases by the International Organization for Migration, will be handed over to Taliban authorities through legal channels.
