Afghanistan, Feb. 21 -- Eskandar Momeni, Iran's Minister of the Interior, once again emphasized the deportation of undocumented migrants from the country but warned that these actions should not create a rift between neighboring countries.

Momeni confirmed that the Iranian government would continue its policy of expelling migrants without proper documentation. He stressed that this process should not harm Iran's relationships with its neighboring countries.

Although Momeni did not specifically name any neighboring country, his remarks come at a time when Afghanistan is one of the main countries from which migrants are present in Iran.
