Afghanistan, April 7 -- Iran's Industry and Trade Minister is set to visit Afghanistan soon to discuss expanding bilateral trade and investment opportunities with Taliban officials.

The Iranian Embassy in Kabul has announced that Seyed Mohammad Atabak, Iran's Minister of Industry, Mine, and Trade, is scheduled to visit Afghanistan in the near future.

According to the statement released Sunday, April 6, Iranian Ambassador Alireza Bikdeli shared this development following his meeting with Minister Atabak in Tehran to discuss bilateral priorities.

Minister Atabak emphasized the importance of strengthening economic ties with Afghanistan and stated that he would lead a high-level delegation to Kabul to pursue trade discussions.
