Afghanistan, April 20 -- Iran executed four Afghan prisoners in Vakilabad Prison in Mashhad on Thursday morning, as reported by a human rights group.

The prisoners, identified as Zaman Taheri, Salam Taheri, Gholam Qadir Samani, and Ebrahim Noorzahi, were reportedly arrested in 1398 (2019) on charges related to drug offenses and subsequently sentenced to death by the court.

The execution of the two brothers, Zaman Taheri and Salam Taheri, adds a distressing layer to the already concerning situation.
