Afghanistan, June 11 -- India has warned it will launch deep strikes inside Pakistan if cross-border terror attacks continue, citing national security concerns.

India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar has issued a strong warning that any future terrorist attacks originating from Pakistan will be met with direct strikes deep inside Pakistani territory. He accused Islamabad of continuing to use terrorism as a tool of state policy.

Speaking during his visit to Brussels in an interview with Politico, Jaishankar emphasized that the roots of conflict between the two countries remain unresolved.
