India urges against sheltering UN-designated terrorists in Afghanistan
Afghanistan, Feb. 17 -- Deputy National Security Adviser of India stated during a meeting of regional security officials in Bishkek that the Taliban should not allow terrorist individuals operating from Afghanistan.
At the 6th Regional Dialogue of Secretaries of Security Councils/National Security Advisers on Afghanistan in Bishkek on Friday, February 16th, Misri emphasized the issue of terrorism, "our collective approach has been articulated in UNSCR 2593. Afghan territory should not be used for sheltering, training, planning or financing terrorist acts; specifically, terrorist individuals proscribed by the UN Security Council, including those belonging to the Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad," as cited by Indian Express.
