Afghanistan, Sept. 18 -- India said it will carefully assess the Saudi-Pakistan mutual defence pact, reviewing its potential impact on national security, regional balance, and global strategic stability.
India has responded cautiously to the new strategic defense pact signed between Saudi Arabia and Pakistan, stating it will examine the implications for its national security, as well as for regional and global stability. The Ministry of External Affairs said in a Thursday statement that New Delhi had been aware the agreement was under consideration.
