Afghanistan, Sept. 3 -- India has delivered 21 tons of humanitarian aid to Afghanistan, including food, medicines, tents, and water supplies, to support earthquake-hit eastern provinces and displaced families.

India has dispatched a large humanitarian aid consignment to Afghanistan to support victims of the recent earthquake in the country's eastern provinces. The shipment arrived in Kabul late Tuesday night.

According to India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar, the consignment weighed 21 tons and included essential items such as tents, blankets, medicines, kitchen sets, health kits, generators, water tanks, and purification systems.
