Afghanistan, May 17 -- India has granted a special permit for over 160 Afghanistan trucks to cross the Wagah Border, facilitating essential trade.

Indian media reported that New Delhi has approved the transit of 162 trucks carrying Afghanistan dry fruits and medicinal herbs into India. This decision marks a significant development in trade ties between Afghanistan and India despite regional instability.

According to The Indian Express on Saturday, May 17, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs granted permission for Afghanistan's cargo trucks to cross into India through the Wagah border crossing. The clearance is limited to Afghanistan trucks only, not Pakistani vehicles.
