Afghanistan, Aug. 21 -- During trilateral talks in Kabul, Pakistan urged stronger action against the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), citing rising cross-border attacks and stressing the need for verifiable steps.
Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has urged Afghanistan's Taliban authorities to take "decisive and verifiable" action against banned militant groups, including Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA).
His call came during the trilateral meeting in Kabul on Wednesday, where Pakistan, China, and the Taliban pledged to strengthen joint counterterrorism efforts. The gathering was also attended by Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
