The family of former Pakistani prime minister Imran Khan says he has been held in a death-row isolation cell for the past six weeks with no communication allowed. His son, Qasim Khan, wrote on X that neither he nor any family member has received calls, messages, or updates on the former leader's condition.

According to Qasim Khan, the former prime minister is being kept in a special unit normally reserved for prisoners sentenced to death. He said authorities have denied all forms of contact, leaving the family "completely in the dark."
