Afghanistan, Sept. 18 -- Daud Shah, husband of former MP Fariba Ahmadi Kakar, was killed in Kandahar as insecurity and reprisal attacks have sharply increased across Afghanistan.
Daud Shah, the husband of former Afghan parliamentarian Fariba Ahmadi Kakar, was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in Kandahar city, local sources confirmed.
The attack occurred earlier this week in Kandahar's first police district when armed assailants opened fire on Shah, who had recently returned from Canada.
Provincial officials told local media that Shah had been living in his home in the Chowk Madad area of Kandahar's second district. He was killed there two days before his funeral.
