Afghanistan, March 31 -- Former President Hamid Karzai, in an Eid al-Fitr greeting, stressed the need to reopen educational centers for girls and remove work restrictions on women, viewing closed schools and universities as major obstacles to national progress.

In a message posted on his official social media platform X, Karzai congratulated the arrival of Eid al-Fitr and called for the resumption of girls' education along with the creation of job opportunities for women.
