Afghanistan, Feb. 26 -- Over 5,000 Indian troops are currently deployed in 9 peacekeeping missions in hostile environments, External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar said on Monday while addressing the first-ever conference for UN women peacekeepers from the Global South.
