Afghanistan, Feb. 7 -- Germany has urged its citizens to leave Iran, warning rapidly changing security conditions and risks of detention, unrest, and regional escalation soon.

Germany's Foreign Ministry warned that security conditions in Iran could deteriorate rapidly and urged German citizens to leave the country if possible.

The ministry said risks of arbitrary detention remain serious and noted that Germany's embassy in Tehran can currently provide only limited consular services.

The advisory described the situation in Iran and the broader region as highly unstable, warning of possible military escalation, flight cancellations, or airspace closures.
